Pharmacological Role of Each Ingredient

Terbutaline Sulphate (1.25mg / 5ml): Selective beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist. Stimulates intracellular adenylyl cyclase to convert ATP to cyclic AMP, triggering smooth muscle relaxation across the bronchial tree and rapidly alleviating bronchospasm.

Guaiphenesin (50mg / 5ml): Expectorant that stimulates gastric vagal receptors, reflexively increasing the volume and hydration of respiratory tract fluid. Decreases viscosity and adhesiveness of bronchial secretions, improving cough clearance efficiency.

Contraindications, Precautions & Safety Warnings
